GET TO KNOW ME

The decision to buy or sell your home is major. While exciting, it can also be necessary to have some direction through the process. You need to work with an agent who understands your needs, takes the time to explain each step of the process, and has experience navigating challenges and pitfalls along the way. I received my real estate license in 2006, and with a prior background in customer service, I found my perfect career.  I continue to have a heart for serving people. Before my professional career in real estate, my indirect experiences prepared me to serve my clients today.  I went through long distance military moves almost every 2 years. This experience taught me the complexities of moving, which has enabled me to guide homeowners on their move in to finding their home.

I’ve also had experience buying, selling and investing from the other side of the table. What I didn’t realize at the time was these experiences were preparing me for the career I have today. One of my biggest rewards as an agent is helping individuals and families build their American dream. Buying a home is often the first step to building personal wealth. The process of buying and selling can include bumps in the road, but I’m the calm, rational voice that keeps the ship steady. My experience in managing different real estate scenarios over the years makes me an incredible resource for my clients. They can trust in my expertise to handle everything promptly and professionally.

You can also count on me to take my time to explain each step of the contract with you. If there’s one thing a real estate transaction has, it’s a lot of paperwork. As a client, if you’re not overly analytical or a data junkie, reading every contract with a fine-tooth comb and understanding everything can be daunting. Fortunately, I am a data junkie, so I can absorb this task for you. It is my job to pour over each contract to make sure you are getting the best possible deal and making the best offer that serves your needs. I leave no stone unturned, protecting your interests and your assets.

Relationships are important.  Once we either find your perfect home or sell your home, I remain a resource and friend to you whenever you need me. If your HVAC system goes out, or you need a contractor of some sort, call me. I have a list of honest and reliable resources to recommend. My business is primarily based on referrals. You want your friends and family to work with an agent that gets the job done, has their best interest at heart and continues to be a reliable resource beyond the sale. These are the cornerstones of my business philosophy.

When I’m not actively helping my clients find or sell their home, I love spending time with my grandchildren, working in my garden, playing with my dog and traveling. I grew up around horses, and relax by riding and training my horse. I love Richmond and the diversity and culture it offers. There are so many things to do and see, which is yet another reason I love helping my clients make their home here.
